When you are diagnosed with a rare disease or what happens to you does not yet have a name, when you have a diagnosis but no effective treatment, when you have lots of questions but very few answers. The correct management of uncertainty is essential as there is fear to the limits imposed by the disease. The lack of understanding of the situation on the part of others, leads to an increase in stress, changes in mood and anxiety which can increase its symptomatology. Feelings of helplessness, anger, fear, non-conformity, self-demand, not knowing what possibilities your medical treatment can allow to improve your situation, etc. This must be worked on so that the person affected can accept the disease, assimilate and integrate it into their way of life that has had to change.
